Angus MacGyver is the title character of one of the most popular action series of the eighties. MacGyver was a problem-solving genius who refused to carry a gun and worked for the Phoenix Foundation, a think tank. The original MacGyver series was released in 1985, and he got his own action figure almost ten years later.
The MacGyver action figure, made by Glasslite, performed well despite the show being canceled a year before the figure's release. The action figure also came with different cars, but it is MacGyver himself that is worth a lot on resale sites.
