Who can forget the days before digital, when watching a movie or listening to music required a physical object that needed to be inserted into a machine. VHS was before DVD and was big and bulky. One wonders what today's youth would do with the big black boxes now.
While they are primarily useless, some of the classic Disney are worth a small fortune today. An early copy of Beauty and the Beast, as well as Dumbo, sold for US$14,500, while 101 Dalmatians grossed over US$25,000. It might be a good idea to dust off your old collection and send them in for evaluation!
Of course, considering how long it's been since VHS tapes were the be-all and end-all of home entertainment, it's unlikely you still have any of them lying around. That said, you can sometimes find them at thrift stores, so take an extra look if you spot them.
