New York Yankees bobbleheads, and indeed bobbleheads in general, are a good investment when you know what to look for. These little guys agree to sell for prices upwards of US$5,000 and are a very popular item among collectors.
However, this particular bobbing head doll is special because only two were made. The rare collector's items are hand-painted and made from ceramic and papier-mâché, if you are lucky enough to have one of these 14-inch bobbing head dolls in good condition, you will be holding US $ 60,000 in your hands.
The difficulty is finding one in impeccable condition, which is easier said than done. After all, the swinging dolls are very interesting for children, who may not understand what “future value” means. However, when they appear at auction, they are highly appreciated (and sought after) for this very reason.
