The franchise popularized the culturally iconic character of He-Man, and all the toys, games, books, and movies that have come from Masters must be worth billions, collectively. The Masters of the Universe Eternia Playset was the biggest toy Mattel ever made. Released in 1986, the vintage Playset featured three towers and vehicles that ran on a monorail track. The Playset is the “Holy Grail” of the Masters collection because it is expensive and difficult to complete. Although only a few of these Playsets were sold at the time and were a failure for Mattel, they grew to be very valuable.
