Pyrex was founded in 1915 by Corning, Inc., and began as a simple line of clear glass dinnerware that could be used in the kitchen. Able to be baked in the oven or used over the flame or as Tupperware, Pyrex's versatility has made it an instant classic.
The company later expanded and changed its aesthetic, and collecting vintage Pyrex has become a profitable and popular hobby ever since. Vintage Pyrex dishes, like the 1959 Pyrex Casserole Dish, are worth thousands of dollars today.
Pyrex announced that it would re-release that year's “Lucky in Love” cassette cymbal in 2018. The Lucky in Love is one of the brand's most popular vintage designs. The quarter-gallon dish is adorned with green squares, four clover leaves, and a green grass garden with pink fluffy hearts.
